Staying home made me forget my maintenance.

I have to admit that so far, 2020 hasn’t been the best year of my life, but I suppose it hasn’t been the worst either.

There are a lot of things going on in the world, and most of them, I have no control over.

I always believed that I should take control if I can and if not, I should accept what is happening and go with the flow. That is what I am doing with the sheltering-in-place. I have an excellent HVAC system and I am enjoying the time I have at home. My family is always complaining about wanting to go out and do something. I tell them to go, but not to forget their masks. My brother tells me it isn’t the same and he shouldn’t need to wear a mask if he doesn’t want to. I tell him it is his choice, but not to come to my house afterward. If he gets the virus, I don’t want to hear him whining about it, since it was his choice. The only thing I am concerned about, is that I didn’t have the maintenance cone on my air conditioning unit. If I choose to stay at home much longer, I am going to need to have the air conditioning running all the time. I’m sure the HVAC tech would do it as long as we kept our social distancing and wear a mask. I don’t see what is so wrong with it anyway. I’m enjoying staying home with my peace, quiet, and air conditioning.
