There’s nothing more stressful than going to the doctor’s office, in my opinion.
I’ve never once had a nice experience at a doctor’s appointment in my life.
They all generally go the same way. I arrive at the perfect time to fill out paperwork and be prepared for my appointment, I sit down in the waiting room, and nobody talks to me again for hours. I freeze my butt off sitting in their abundant HVAC system, wondering why the a/c is turned up to level 11 around all of these sick people. Well, nowadays it’s even more nerve-wracking to attend a doctor appointment. With the COVID-19 pandemic still raging on, I do not feel comfortable putting myself in the same indoor area with a bunch of sick people who are breathing their respiratory contamination into the room. Last month I had no choice but to attend a doctor’s appointment for a small respiratory irritation. I knew that the powerful a/c idea in the waiting room wasn’t making me feel any better as my sinuses continued to dry out in the cold, artificial indoor air. The other thing that was actually bothering me was the sound of my doctor hacking his lungs out which carried perfectly through the extravagant air duct system. I never thought I would say this, but now I wish they would have turned up the A/C unit. No, I didn’t want to have more cold, dry air shoved into my lungs. However, I also didn’t want to hear his sickly coughing leading up to my appointment.
